The Engineering Chamber of the Republic of Srpska was founded at the Founding Assembly of the Engineering Chamber of the Republic of Srpska, held on November 27, 2015. in Banja Luka, and after that it was registered with the Basic Court in Banja Luka, by Decision No. F-1-185/15 on February 1, 2016. in order to improve the conditions for performing professional work in the field of spatial planning, design, construction of buildings and other areas important for planning and construction, protection of general and individual interests in the performance of work in those areas, organization in the provision of services in the aforementioned areas, as well as in order to achieve other goals in the field of spatial planning and construction.

Also, the Chamber has the task of protecting the reputation, honor and rights of the members, promoting, representing and harmonizing their common interests before the state and republican authorities in the country and abroad, taking care that the members of the Chamber perform their duties professionally, professionally, conscientiously and in accordance with the Law, as well as to protect and improve the general conditions and standards on spatial planning and construction in the Republic of Srpska.
